Walkthrough & Notes
You can approach any three jousters in any order; they all have the same stats. If you need to recover after a joust, there is no time limit between fights. You don't have to completely deplete their health; the joust will be over when their health is a little under 1/4 left. You don't technically have to be on your war-steed to fight the jousters but they will quickly go out of unmounted range.

Bestowal dialogue 'In the wake of Núrzum's rampage, my folk need the aid of skilled defenders to prevent such a tragedy from occurring again. I have devised trials to prove the worthiness of those who would come to our aid. 'There are many Rohirrim jousters in this area. Challenge one of them to a duel, and if you are victorious, I will consider your worthiness. 'Speak with me again when you are ready to begin.' Background In the wake of Núrzum's rampage, the folk of Wildermore seek the aid of skilled defenders. Objective 1 Talk to Gyric to travel to the Whitshaws and speak with Rilbert Completing Wildermore's Recovery will cancel this quest. Gyric is waiting for your decision in Forlaw. You should speak with Gyric when you are ready to travel to the Whitshaws and talk to Rilbert to begin your trial. Gyric: 'You should speak with Rilbert when you arrive in the Whitshaws.' Bestowal dialogue 'Have you skill on horseback? We will see. 'From here, you can see the Rohirrim jousters who are waiting to test would-be heroes. If you can defeat three of them, I shall count your skills worthy of Rohan. I suggest you mount up...dispatching these foes will be no easy task afoot.' Objective 2 Defeat a Rohirrim jouster in a duel Completing Wildermore's Recovery will cancel this quest. Rohirrim jousters can be found in the field beyond Rilbert. You have been tasked with defeating three Rohirrim jousters. Objective 3 Defeat a second Rohirrim jouster in a duel Completing Wildermore's Recovery will cancel this quest. Rohirrim jousters can be found in the field beyond Rilbert. You have been tasked with defeating three Rohirrim jousters. Objective 4 Defeat a third Rohirrim jouster in a duel Completing Wildermore's Recovery will cancel this quest. Rohirrim jousters can be found in the field beyond Rilbert. You have been tasked with defeating three Rohirrim jousters. Objective 5 Talk to Rilbert or Talk to Gyric in Forlaw Completing Wildermore's Recovery will cancel this quest. Rilbert is at the southern end of the ice pools in the Whitshaws. Gyric is at Forlaw in the Fallows. Speak with either of them to receive your reward. Rilbert/Gyric: 'Well done, <name>! You have proven your worth in your joust.'
